About Marcel Wah

I am an artist and entrepreneur, currently residing in Colorado, USA. My current activities are focused solely on growing the following business enterprises:

LuxeAer, LLC, an environmentally conscious transportation provider.

World Art Finder, LLC, a social network platform for the art world (still under development).

Haiti Place, LLC, a community for all things Haitian (still under development).

TimlX, LLC, offering web design and development services using our TimlXEngine.

Timl, LLC, my largest technology venture still under development.

My art making and involvement in art are taking “a leave of absence” until some time in the future when I am able to make a larger impact on creating a Caribbean art market. For now, my time is strictly committed to the above.

For those of you who do not know me well, I was born into a well-known family of Haitian-Chinese artists in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I began to paint at an early age; however, my professional art career did not begin until 1994 after eight years of honorably serving in the United States Air Force. After my discharge, I attended art schools in California. I hold both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute and the California College of the Arts, respectively.

My entrepreneurial spirit surfaced in 1993 after serving my second tour in Guantanamo Bay (GTMO), Cuba, where I worked closely with Haitian refugees fleeing persecution. That year I was introduced to Anthony Robbins, motivational speaker, author, and businessman, by a fellow Haitian-American Army buddy deployed in GTMO during the same time. Reading Anthony’s book fueled my interests and my love affair with business started.

As any entrepreneur would attest, it is truly the path less traveled–it’s full of joy, excitement, successes, as well as its fair share of challenges, losses, and everything in between. Being a creative individual like myself, and because of my family history in business, I find that the business world is the most natural choice for me, which is why I continue to persist.

I have learned a great deal, some of which I will share on this website and hope they will inspire, motivate, or provide you with insights into your own path as an entrepreneur. But that is not all I will share, as this site will also serve as an archive of my travels and experiences.

My key areas of interests are in art, technology, tourism, and newfound interests and commitment in Climate Change.

My vision is to infuse art, technology, and tourism in developing countries as economic development drivers. I have many ideas on how I plan to do this; they will be revealed in due time.
